No PC demo for Fable 3 |

Microsoft had raised the hopes of PC gamers by saying that a demo was incoming for the PC version of Fable 3, but those hopes were unfortunately dashed just recently.
Larry Hryb, who is also known by the moniker Major Nelson, had originally announced that a demo would be released on the same day as the full game would be released. It was then changed to read that the PC demo is "no longer scheduled". Hryb's post has since been amended to remove any mention of the demo.
Gaming news site IncGamers spoke to a representative of Fable 3 developer Lionhead Studios who cleared up the situation. Apparently, word of the demo started due to a misunderstanding. There never was any demo planned for the game. If you want to try out Fable 3 before you buy it, you better find a friend willing to let you play his copy.
Fable 3 will be out on PC come May 17.

Of course it would happen anyway but a demo may have helped lower it.

Come on, in all seriousness, this doesn't help piracy concerns one bit, I'm a law abiding citizen but, when this happens; it sucks to be a law abiding citizen.
