New Witcher 2 Vid Proves We Are One Violent Species

I've always said that if aliens ever show up and happen to simply watch our TV shows, movies, or video games before making contact they will run the fuck away. We are one violent-ass species; so much so that we like to watch simulations (and sometimes the real thing) of people getting sliced up and hacked apart. Hell, the aliens may already be watching...in which case they're no better I guess.

But I digress.

The new teaser trailer for The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings Enhanced Edition backs up the previous trailers that this is one violent game, and I like it. CD Projekt RED and Warner Bros (I think, this game literally has half a dozen different publishers), have put out this video that is a blend of gameplay and CG and it shows off more of the epic-ness of the game alongside the different ways you can hack through your enemies.

"Cruelty and violence become the daily fare," indeed.

The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings Enhanced Edition will be released on April 17th.
