New S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game coming this fall, first details |
Ó

For the third year in a row, Ukrainian developer GSC Game World will be releasing a new standalone title in their excellent S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series.
The new game, which carries the working title of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, will take place after the events of 2007's S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. It will feature a whole new story, "unique characters", and a new extended system of side quests.
Call of Pripyat will also bring together the most popular elements of the first two games in a new A-Life system. A more user-friendly UI will also be added. Hopefully when it releases it won't have as many bugs as Clear Sky. That was the only thing I didn't like about that game.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat is currently scheduled for a fall release. If you haven't played through the first two S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games yet, I really recommend checking them out. Both are available on Steam.
