New Microsoft Train Simulator confirmed

Choo-choo-chooing its way on track is another train-sim from Microsoft. Following the release of their smash hit Flight Simulator X, Aces Studios is using the same technology and game engine to develop a new version of Microsoft Train Simulator.

There's still not much details about the game, but they're promising that it'll be an entirely different product that doesn't follow their previous Train Simulator projects. This new title will be built on the Flight Simulator X platform and 25 years of their development efforts.

So, for the railroad enthusiasts out there, better prepare your train tickets as early as now. The next train is a'coming!
