The Orange Box with Team Fortress 2 - Image 1Valve Corporation just released updates for Team Fortress 2 for PC and the Source Engine to fix several bugs and address a few balance issues. Some of the problems bothering your team-based skirmishes may have been removed, since this patch does something about common glitches, exploits and the like.

According to the changelog, sapped buildings now take slightly less damage from the Spy who sapped them, and the Medic's Medigun now charges at an increased rate during Setup time. Aside from these changes to gameplay elements, most updates were for bugs such as critical bullet tracers disappearing or rocket trails existing permanently.

The update also tweaks the Dustbowl map. Demomen can no longer camp at the final cap point while throwing grenades, and line-of-sight in a certain area in stage 3 has been limited because it was too favorable for snipers.

For the Source Engine, audio buffer issues with Windows Vista have been partially fixed. Some aesthetic changes were applied both to the engine and SourceTV, so head over to Steam's website via link below for the entire changelog of Team Fortress 2 updates.
