A post from IGN's Neverwinter Nights 2 Vault confirmed that the much-anticipated expansion pack from Obsidian Entertainment, Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer for the PC, has gone gold and ready for shipment.What lead designer Kevin Saunders promises to be almost a full game by itself, Mask of the Betrayer is bound enhance your digital D&D experience. Fortunate RPG lovers from Europe will be able to grab a copy firsthand late September, while the US will see an October 9 release.
If this latest addition to an already epic tale doesn't betray our hopes, expect over 25 hours of gameplay with new races, classes, equipment, feats, spells, and companions at your disposal. After the good words critics blessed the original Neverwinter Nights 2 with, fans have something to be excited about.
