Let the 360 world run amok, pull off their insane stunts, and otherwise drive themselves crazy over their beloved Halo 3 MP beta scramble. For the PC world shall not be cast adrift and left to fend on its own. By the generosity of Crytek, mouse-mashers, too, shall have their own multiplayer beta to trumpet about to the high heavens.

CVG reports that Crytek will soon announce details for a PUBLIC multiplayer beta for Crysis. CEO, prez, and straight-shooter (literally) Cevat Yerli uses the words "to experience [it for] yourself", which is code for "who among you wants some nanosuited, eye-bleeding action before the game's released?" Please. Who can resist the first crack at an upcoming game? Certainly not everyone who logged on to Bungie, bought as many copies of Crackdown as they could, or burning the days with Halo 2.

Announced soon, indeed. Stay tuned.
