Ó
Mass Effect for the PC (also on the Xbox 360) is bound to be one of your gaming companions this summer, because the RPG buffs at BioWare announced that the role-playing game of action proportions will be shipping to shelves soon.
The PC optimized lovechild between BioWare and Demiurge Studios is at gold status, and the copies of the master copy should be available by May 28, 2008.
As mentioned some time before, Mass Effect PC will also carry the Bring Down the Sky downloadable content for free. It will also carry high-resolution graphics, a customized tactical HUD, individual squad control, interactive decryption puzzles, and revamped controls meant for mouse and keyboard interaction.
Unfortunately, MEPC will be published with SecuROM DRM, a three-time activation limit, and will require Internet access for the first time of execution, automatic patch or content downloads. BioWare's Game of the Year and RPG of the Year winner will arrive in Europe by June 6, 2008. More updates as we get them.
