Lizardry has been updated to 1.5, and we have all the details on what the latest version brings.
The first game update for Lizardry, which debuted just over a month ago, is now available. Lizardry is a game where the goal is to destroy or eat as many flies as possible. The player controls a Lizard named Liz and for each fly caught, Liz will advance a step closer to the finish line.
New features:
Themes:
This is the centerpiece feature of this update. There are now two themes in the game: Desert Heat and Abandoned City. Desert Heat is based on the original theme of Lizardry. Abandoned City is an all new theme with its own graphics, music, insects and power-ups.
Environment:
Two new insects have been added but that's not all. Catapults and falling leaves are new obstacles for Liz to tackle. Liz can now acquire a new lightning powerup to quickly zap insects.
Rewards:
When a player excels, they will be rewarded with assorted medals in the reward room. For example, if a player in three consecutive moves catches multiple flies, the will be rewarded with the Multi-Catch Award. There are a total of nine all-new awards.
Levels:
There are 40 all new levels included in the update for even greater challenges.
Gameplay mode:
Each level will now play out in one of 4 modes. Free flow, Timer based, Point based, Accuracy based and Hit based.
Story:
Each theme is preceded by an introductory slideshow with backstory, explaining key events in Liz's journey.
