Jurassic Park gets new video, pre-order details

Telltale Games has unleashed a new trailer for Jurassic Park: The Game that gives a special inside view, with the game creators revealing new info about the creatures, the game and a mysterious new threat. We also get to see some new gameplay footage. Check it out below.

Those who pre-order for PC or Mac now get the full five-game season for US$ 29.99. That equates to US$ 5 off the regular price. Pre-ordering will also give you access to the exclusive Jurassic Park Insider Forums where you can chat with the people creating the game, get first-look production images, special Telltale Store deals, promotions and more. The Insider Forums are now live.

The first episode of Jurassic Park: The Game is expected to release next month for PC and Mac, followed by console in the fall. The upcoming episodic game series will put an emphasis on tension and atmosphere compared to figuring out puzzles.

How can you tell from just that footage? I thought it look interesting but I'd need to see more or play the first episode before I could form an opinion that concrete about it.

I would like to know if they're planning a physical release for the consoles though....otherwise I'd want to preorder this one.

You mean apart from the fact that it is a "simon says" game... while it worked in a game of cinematic quality (heavy rain), a game like this would have been so much cooler purely as an adventure game.

I can't wait for this. Portal 2, then JP. Looks like April is going to be great. Jp is my favorite movie IP.

Looks like animations from an episode of Reboot! The whole thing doesn't look all that great though lol
