Japan gets help from Sports Interactive, Sega

Corporations from within the video game industry continue to pour out support for Japan in the midst of this very difficult time in the country's history. Joining in the crew to help give relief to Japan are Sports Interactive and Sega.

The British developers were said to be the first video game companies to give their pledge for Japan's relief cause. For their part, the companies have pledged to donate all the revenues from their Football Manager Handheld app, that should come in for seven days, starting last Friday, March 11th.

Earlier, other companies have already shown their support for the cause of Japan by shutting down game servers to help conserve the energy supply in the country. One such company would be Square Enix.

Efforts cotinue to pour in as relief operations trudge along in the wake of the major earthquake, tsunami, and now the eruption of a once-dormant volcano.
