It's been a while since we last heard from Jack Thompson. Not that we miss him or anything, but just in case you're interested, he's so back and swinging that crazy bat yet again.

This time, though, he takes aim at one person specifically, and that would be Valve's big boss Gabe Newell. He not only takes aim, however, he threatens him. And for what? That school shooting mod for Half-Life 2, School Shooter: North American Tour 2012.

In a public letter addressed to Mr. Newell, he says thus:

Dear Mr. Newell:

You either know or should know that the more moral midgets who run Checkerboarded Studios have created a mod for your company's Half-Life which they call School Shooter: North American Tour 2010. This mod is a full-blown Columbine massacre simulator which cannot function without your company's assistance and acquiesence.

Attached herewith is a letter from FHE-ASAP that expresses their, my, and others' concerns about this Columbine massacre mod.

As you either know or should know, your Half-Life murder simulator was obsessively played, and thus became a training ad, for a) teenaged Robert Steinhauser, who authored at Erfurt, Germany, the worst school shooting massacre in European history, and b) Seung-Hi Cho, who authored at Virginia Tech University the worst school shooting massacre in world history.

As to the latter, the sources of this information are teh Washington Post and the New York Times. Now some sociopaths have made reprises of Erfurt and Virginia Tech far more likely."

dear activision, you have made a game which relives the strife and dangers that many of our soldiers fought in world war 2. People take this lightly as online they laugh as every digital soldier falls to his demise and has a points system that that makes such cold blooded massacre get rewards and bragging rights.

Unless valve implemented glados into it there was no way they could prevent someone making a map of a school.

I am surprised he isn't targeting moddb if this ignoramus has to target anyone.

I think they should take down the School Shooter mod and replace it with a Jack Thompson shooter mod. Instead of zombies we could shoot Jack Thompson clones

Yea lookout, don't play a game about killing people because it might encourage some psycho to do something bad in real life, like, oh I don't know, maybe Jack Thompson threatening real people. What's he going to do, go to valve headquarters and shoot everyone for not stopping a game about going and shooting everyone. lol
