Indie Fund makes back Q.U.B.E Funding in 4 days |

I will be reviewing the fantastic Q.U.B.E game, from Toxin Games tomorrow but first a lovely bit of news regarding their development. The game was shown off at a few indie game festivals over 2010 and 2011 till they were picked up by the Indie Fund, a lovely little company who was helping out developers to get games off the ground.
Indie Fund's first title is Q.U.B.E and were given an investment of $90,000 which they smoothly paid back in just over 4 days. This was even while Steam had the game on sale for 85% of the price. The game is currently $15 and still making money for the developers and I see this as a real triumph to make and fund profitable indie titles.
Toxin Games approached the fund about the $42,000 grant back in August of 2010 and then another $37,500 was added on top of that at the beginning of 2011. "We are very happy that we were able to fully fund the game, as it was important to us, and to Toxic's future as independent developers, that the team shipped the best game they could, " Indie Fund said in a statement earlier this week.
Indie Fund has also funded and is developing Dear Esther, Faraway and Monaco at the time of writing. All of them, especially Dear Esther and Monaco look to be a lot of fun and incredibly profitable in the new year.
