Nordic Game 2011 has announced the indie finalists that will be present at this year's showing.

"Eight new indie projects have been selected, and the finalists will be giving short talks about each others’ games, in the form of a special indie developer roundtable. Then, we’ll open up the event for a party! The finalist games will all be displayed for the public to try."

Finalists:

  • 1916 – Der unbekannte Krieg, by Kriegsgraben und Stormvogel [Denmark]
  • Cobalt, by Oxeye Game Studio [Sweden]
  • Jesus vs Dinosaurs, by Martin Jonasson and Petri Purho [Sweden & Finland]
  • Mobiloid, by Monty Games [Denmark]
  • Nimbus, by Noumenon Games [Sweden]
  • Paul & Percy, by Mads Peter Vedsten Larsen, Klaus Kabel Kritensen, and Magnus Poppel [Denmark]
  • Spirits, by Spaces of Play [Sweden]

Attendees will be able to vote for their favorite finalist to determine the winner of this year's "Indie Sensation" award, presented at the Nordic Game Awards show on May 11, 2011.
