Homefront is worth every penny - Kaos |

Homefront has burst into homes early this week, and along with it came a throng of issues and controversies. Kaos Studio, however, maintains that despite the criticisms, the game should very well be worth every penny you spend for it.
One of the main gripes of gamers is the the seeming shorthandedness of the solo campaign. Despite this, however, General Manager David Votypka maintains that the presence of the multiplayer campaign and the upcoming DLC should be "a strong reason to keep the game."
He said thus, "The multiplayer has a fairly long unlock tree, it has a lot of replayability and certainly we're going to support the title with DLC as we're going support the title with DLC as well going forward."
And because Homefront gives gamers "an experience that feels different," it definitely will be worth the US$ 60 people will be spending for it.
"We feel that ultimately we wanted to make a game that people felt, 'yes, I want to spend my US$ 60 on that product. We think what we're delivering in Homefront is really compelling and also a lot of fun."
The game has so far gotten mixed reviews, making investors terribly uncomfortable with it. As a result, THQ's stocks experienced a downturn. It is the hope, however, that when the sales numbers come in, the company will be a bit more confident about it.
Homefront launched in North America early this week, while Europe will be getting it this Friday.

Not EVERYONE that buys a game wants to play it online, I KNOW that's a shocker but it's the truth.
There are those of us that would prefer to play a solo campaign at times (even better with split screen) and on that account you have definitely failed. If you're only going to go after a market of online gamers then you shouldn't be charging full price for half a game.
