Have you played Orcs Must Die!? If you haven’t, you really should. The game is one of those indie darlings that lands infinite praise from critics but doesn’t necessarily manage to catch on with the greater gaming populace. Anyway, with that PSA out of the way, here’s the real news: Robot Entertainment, who created Orcs Must Die!, is porting their hit iOS-based Hero Academy over to steam.

But that’s not all. The game, which is a turn-based battle title, will feature characters from Valve’s smash hit Team Fortress 2—you know, the Spy, the Heavy, etc. The Steam and iOS versions of the game will be cross-compatible, meaning you can smash iPhone users to bits from the comfort of your PC.

Look for Hero Academy on Steam August 8. In the meantime, download it on your iOS device so you’ll be ahead of the competition.
