Okay, so you know how EA forces you to make an Origin account to play its games, whether you want one or not? Funny story: They’re all getting hacked now!
Right? Hilarious. Unless, you know, it happens to you.
Anyway, here’s the gist: Users have started noticing some weird things with Origin; most notably that their personal data is being changed. When those players try to figure out what’s going on, they are (of course) shut down by Origin’s notoriously awful customer support since they can’t provide correct personal information. You know…the personal information modified by the hackers.
You can see a bunch of complaints by following this link, but for now you may want to double-check your Origin account to make sure everything is groovy. What a dang mess.
