Notch, the guy who made Minecraft, doesn’t actually work on Minecraft anymore. Instead, development on that game is mostly handled by the other folks at Mojang, leaving Notch to sow his creative seeds elsewhere. His first big project? The oddly titled 0x10c, which gives players the ability to pilot a spaceship that can also be programmed via an on-board computer.

Honestly, I’m not even sure I understand the concept. But hey, I probably wouldn’t have understood Minecraft until I saw it, so maybe that’s why Notch makes games and I play them. Anyway, here’s some super-secret footage from the game showing off a bit of Notch’s progress:
Minecraft fans will notice immediately that the games seem quite similar in design, but we really won’t know much until we get some sort of info that’s not just a dude running around in a grey box.
