It sure is a field day for Gears of War 3, what with all the updates and rumors coming in. From PC rumors to beta details, we've got it all here for you.



First, on the PC rumors. This started to pick up when Cliff Bleszinski himself said that "you're going to see PC gaming come to rise in the newxt few years." That's not very forthcoming, but it does leave a lot of room for speculation.



Besides, with the recent success of Bulletstorm on the PC, word on the street has it that this definitely gave a surge of encouragement to Epic Games. That's still up in the air as of the momemnt, though, but we're pretty sure PC fans will definitely love to get Gears of War 3 on their platform.

Now, as to the other bit of this post, it's the beta details for the game, and if you want to get in on the action, you should take down notes. The Bulletstorm Epic Edition pre-order beta entrants have been enjoying their run since last week, and now it's the GameStop pre-order entrants that are up next.



On April 25th, at approximately 5AM EST/ 2AM PST, the final round of beta entries will kick off. Not only will the game's beta be available, but the King of the Hill beta will also be added.



As for the schedule for the remaining weeks of beta:

• April 25th – May 1st: Team Deathmatch and King of the Hill on Thrashball, Checkout, and Trenches.
• May 2nd – May 8th: Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill, and Capture the Leader on Thrashball, Checkout, Trenches, and Old Town.
• May 9th – May 15th: Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill, and Capture the Leader on Thrashball, Checkout, Trenches, and Old Town.
