GDC 2008: Independent Games Festival finalists announced

With next year's Game Developer's Conference (GDC) readied for February 18 to 22, we'll be announcing an update to the event's equally important Independent Games Festival. We have just received word that this year's IGF Main Competition entries have now been finalized.

These entries bested 173 other contending titles, and are now set to compete for the top post at the upcoming IGF Awards scheduled for February 20, 2008. This list aside, readers will also want to wait until December 17, when the IGF's Student Competition finalists are announced.

The GDC and its accompanying Independent Games Summit are set to take place over at San Francisco's Moscone Theater. Keep alert in case any related updates are announced.
