EA The Sims - Image 1Fans of casual gaming may want to look into EA's newly-launched TheSimsCarnival.com, announced only recently in the GDC 2008 event. TheSimsCarnival.com, the latest addition to the popular gaming franchise The Sims, is an online gaming community where denizens can play, share, and even create casual games with other players.

TheSimsCarnival.com is currently in its closed beta stage, but once it opens to the general public sometime in Spring 2008, players can expect to have hundreds of games to play and personalize. The number of games will eventually increase, of course, as gamers pitch in with their own creations.

To create games users need to have some tools to aid them. Of course, EA already has the tools covered. "We're very excited to launch TheSimsCarnival.com, a new and accessible gaming experience that gives players all the tools they need to play, create and share games online with friends," said Rod Humble of The Sims Studio.

That
