FilePlanet subscribers get first crack at Crysis - Image 1

Electronic Arts and Crytek have decided that some lucky people should already have access to the beta of their awesome-looking, upcoming FPS Crysis. However, you'd have to be a FilePlanet subscriber (and not just a registered member) to join the fun.

The first batch of beta testers are all set for the maiden voyage at 2:30 PST, leaving most of us green with envy. No word as to how and when non-subscribers will ever get a hands-on has been announced.

Crysis is the successor to Far Cry, starring a protagonist named Jack Dunn who can be modified because he has a nano(- muscle) suit to give him superhuman abilities. Weapons are also customizable with accessories such as suppressors, laser sights and telescopes for more accurate shooting. Crysis is a PC-only release as of the moment.
