Fallout: New Vegas DLC release rumor debunked |
Listed in: News Tags: Bethesda, fallout: new vegas, Obsidian Entertainment

With Dead Money now out, there are three unreleased downloadable content packs remaining for Fallout: New Vegas. A recent rumor has made it look like gamers won't have to wait too long before they start wandering through the Mojave Wasteland again, but Bethesda has quickly moved to deny its veracity.
First, some background. A report on Play.tm states that retail sources from the UK have pegged the next New Vegas DLC add-on for release next week. The pack, called Honest Hearts, will reportedly be available on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live in the UK, France, and Germany starting March 22. Following Honest Hearts will be Old World Bones, which will be released on April 26.
Bethesda, however, has stated that the rumor is entirely unfounded. "The info in that story is not correct," a Bethesda rep told Game Informer. "We will be letting people know the plan for upcoming Fallout: New Vegas DLCs in the next couple of weeks."
Honest Hearts and Old World Bones have long been believed to be among the add-ons Bethesda plans to release after similarly named files were found in New Vegas' game files. Unlike Dead Money, the remaining three add-ons for New Vegas will be released simultaneously on all three platforms.

I hope this is not the case but who knows. Come on Bethesda, give us people in other parts of the globe the experience without the "actual" experience. I want to be prepared.
But really though. This is just a game and people should really calm down about what happens other places because these people although traumatized, are resilient and a lot of them embrace gaming and would think that it would be silly to delay such games. If I was in the situation the last thing I would worry about is what other people were playing in another part of the world. I think if game companies care and want to help, they would release content and use some of the proceeds to help the people of Japan. I personally don't like the Red Cross. It is a religious organization and I don't want them getting credit for what I want to give to people in need. I give to other organizations that use the money.
