Fallout: New Vegas Dev Releases Mod

Mods for open-world Bethesda games like Fallout and Skyrim aren't a huge deal, but this one actually comes from someone who had a hand in designing it. J.E. Sawyer, the game's Creative Director from Obsidian Entertainment, released the mod as a way of pretty much making the game more difficult. This mod is something that Sawyer simply created for his own New Vegas playthroughs, but he has released for the heck of it, saying that the game is "done" and that this mod doesn't represent anything official on that front. You need the DLC to use the mod, so maybe more DLC will move as a result, but that will probably be the only result.

As far as what the mod actually does, there are a lot of things to list but it essentially ups level caps, increases weapons, and overall makes the things more difficult to compensate. I guess he just wanted a challenge. Since he actually helped build the world it must be difficult to enjoy playing it as-is.

I haven't even finished my hardcore run of New Vegas, so I don't think I'll be tackling this anytime soon. How about you?
