Enemy Unknown Ready for Landing |
Listed in: News Tags: enemy unknown, firaxis, xcom
If you’re a fan of XCOM, here’s some good news: XCOM: Enemy Unknown officially hits shelves on October 9 in North America. If you live in Europe, you’ll have to wait until (gasp!) October 12. Of course, no big release would be complete without a bunch of random pre-order junk, and XCOM is no different.

If you pre-order XCOM, you’ll land yourself the Elite Soldier Pack, which comes with a “classic X-Com Soldier” and some extra armor customization items. You’ll also receive what the developers are calling “complete colour customization,” which probably means exactly what you’d think.
And, naturally, there will be a (PC-exclusive) special edition version of the game that comes with an art book, poster and other digital crap. Because games just don’t sell themselves anymore, guys.
Are you excited about XCOM? I do loves me some Firaxis.
