Electronic Arts reveals The Sims 3 details, screenshots |
Ó
Electronic Arts has finally released more screenshots and details for The Sims 3 for the PC. Fans of the previous games will probably be pleased to know that the latest iteration of this video game builds upon the system that was implemented in The Sims 2 and adds a few twists of its own.
According to the press release, the game will now feature a new seamless open neighbourhood. This means that you can now roam around the town instead of having to flag down a cab every time you want to visit a different locations.
The character creation aspect of the game has been improved as well, allowing for more variations including modifications on a character's facial features and skin tone. In addition, every character is said to have a more distinct personality making each sim truly unique.
Finally, Sims 3 is said to have new creativity tools which allow players to create their own floors, flowers, clothing, wallpaper, and more. Hopefully, this will be a lot easier than the skinning process found in previous Sims games.
The game is expected to hit the market by 2009, though no specific dates have been revealed as of yet. While waiting for more information on the game's release date, you might want to check out some screenshots of the game below.
