Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale on PC / XBL tomorrow, PSN next week

Dungeons & Dragons fans are finally getting a new video game to play with tomorrow. Publisher Atari has set May 25th as the launch date for Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale on Xbox Live and PC. PlayStation 3 owners will be able to get the downloadable action role playing game through PlayStation Network next week starting May 31st.

Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale features action / RPG gameplay for both solo and co-op play for up to four players. Gamers use intuitive pick-up-and-play combat combined with a wide assortment of weapons, feats and powers to defeat a wide range of deadly enemies.The game also boasts an array of levels and exploration opportunities set in richly detailed environments.

If all goes well, Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdal will be but the first salvo in Atari and developer Bedlam Games' plans to release a whole series of downloadable games based on Dungeons & Dragons' 4th edition ruleset.
