If you're a Witcher fan and consider DRM to be a blight on the entirety of the gaming industry, better get yourself over to Good Old Games' online store right now. The DRM-free version of The Witcher 2 is now available for purchase there.
Aside from being DRM-free, the version on GOG.com also comes with all sorts of additional materials like the full soundtrack, a game guide, wallpapers and a 200-page artbook that's exclusive to GOG.com's digital edition. In addition, it's being sold under Good Old Games' Fair Price Package system.
While the worldwide price of The Witcher 2 on GOG.com is US$ 49.99, it's € 49.99 for customers paying in Euros which makes the game US$ 16 more expensive, and it's AU$ 69.99 for Australian customers which makes it US$ 26 more. Under the Fair Price Package, Europeans will receive US$ 16 store credit and Australians will get US$ 26 worth of store credit to spend on Good Old Games.
If you've already pre-order The Witcher 2 though GOG.com, you have until May 31st to finalize the deal. Otherwise, your pre-order will get cancelled.

Sorry but this is just stupid to me.
Either use DRM and annoy your legit customers or get rid of it entirely.
Not just for one retailer.
