In anticipation of the release of the first episode in Sam & Max: Season Two, Telltale Games announced that one of their highest-rated games from last season will now be available for free. Hellzyeah. And the good thing about it is that there's no catch at all!Sam & Max: Season One - Episode 4 'Abe Lincoln Must Die' is now free for download. No questions asked! Wohoo! It was released earlier this year, but since it's one of the episodes that got some good reception among the fans, they want everyone to experience the fun.
The game will have you follow Sam and Max try to investigate the President because he's been quite weird lately: passing mandated laws for group hugs, putting an embargo on all things pudding, and whatnot.
Also, Telltale Games announced that their Season One bundle has gotten a price cut. It's now going to retail for US$ 29.95. As for 'Abe Lincoln Must Die,' you can download it (we repeat: download it for FREE) from the official Telltale Games website as linked below.

Good on them! I'll download ep1 to see what it's like...otherwise I would have given these episodes a skip...but maybe it's actually good!
Of course I suspect that this is exactly why they're giving it away for free...in hopes that ppl will play it...like it...and buy ep2
