Deep Silver announces E3 2011 lineup

Deep Silver may only be bringing two games to this year's E3 but they've already built up a lot of hype for one of them thanks to a cleverly produced trailer. You know the one I'm talking about.

Techland's Dead Island will without a doubt be the highlight of the publisher's E3 showing. The upcoming open world horror survival game puts players in a tropical paradise that just happens to have hordes of different festering zombies await players around every corner. Deep Silver has started sending out teaser videos for the game so keep an eye out for something new at E3.

Accompanying Dead Island will be Risen 2: Dark Waters, new role playing game by RPG developers Piranha Bytes. Dark Waters builds on the original Risen with a fresh setting, new content, further-developed technology and multiple, thematically varied islands. There's also a dynamic day and night cycle that influences countless aspects of the game's world.

Both Dead Island and Risen 2: Dark Waters are scheduled to be released on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 this year. E3 2011 takes place on June 7 to 9, 2011, in Los Angeles. You can check out more E3 2011 news here.
