Darkspore delayed

EA has announced that Darkspore's release date has been move to next month.

The sci-fi action RPG and the spiritual successor of Spore was originally slated to arrive on March 29, but Maxis decided to bump up the release date to polish the game a bit. In a post on the games official forums, Maxis developer MaxisMikeP says:

"Thanks to everyone who has participated in the Darkspore beta! We’ve received really positive feedback about the game, as well as some suggestions of things you’d like to see. We’re really close, but in order to make the best game possible, the team has decided to take additional time to incorporate more of your feedback."

The new date for the game is now April 26 in North America and April 28 for Europe. But don't fret folks, Maxis have announced that they will have more beta invites soon so that players can have more opportunites to try out the latest enhancements of the game, with an open beta coming sometime next month.
