Calling all Linux Users: Valve Needs Your Help |
Listed in: News Tags: Linux, Steam, surveys, testing, valve
Okay, we have established previously that I’m not very smart, and I especially don’t know anything about Linux. So bear with me as I try to make sense out of this article. Valve is looking for “experienced” users of the Linux platform to assist with testing the Linux Steam client.
So far so good, me!

If you’re interested, you can take this quick survey to get yourself in the running. From there, Valve will send 1,000 users Steam for Linux and a free Valve game. There’s also something about Ubuntu 12.04, whatever the hell that means. It’s a Linux thing, right?
Anyway, that’s pretty much the whole deal. If you run Linux on your machine and want to help your old pals at Valve out, just go take the survey and wait patiently for your number to come up. It’s not like you’re busy making out with girls or having friends.
What are your thought on Linux as a gaming platform?

PLEASE tell me that this was sarcasm.
If you don't know what Ubuntu is, I think you need to read a little bit more.

I apologize, that was totally uncalled for.
