Codemasters did say it was going to be rescheduled for a "Spring 2011" release.

Bodycount, the upcoming shooter beset by production problems, may very well be on its way out, finally. Publisher Codemasters has now announced that the game will be hitting retail stores in North America by August 30th, while EMEA regions will be picking it up come September 2nd.

It's been a while since we've heard anything of Bodycount, and really, who could blame the fans who thought it was vaporware already? Stuart Black was originally the creative director for Bodycount, but left the company late last year, throwing the game's develompent off-course.

That changes today, though, because Codemasters also sent out this new gameplay trailer for Bodycount, to accompany the good news of the said release dates. Enjoy!
