Blizzard: The World Of Hackcraft |
Listed in: News Tags: Activision, Blizzard, diablo 3, World of Warcraft
Blizzard Entertainment has recently warned its gamers that some of their online accounts have been hacked. It has yet to be determined as to whether or not that the hackers gained pertinent user information such as credit cards, physical addresses or even real names.

What has been successfully infiltrated are the email addresses and personal security questions. Because they want users information to stay protected Blizzard is recommending that subscribers change their passwords.
Again this is the last thing Activision wants to hear. After a disappointing second quarter and millions of subscribers gone to the wayside for The World Of Warcraft it will be interesting just how many subscribers if any will be lost because of this.
Activision is counting on sales from Diablo 3 to finish the year strong. What’s also important is the future state of its stock. It has been rumored for some time now that Vivendi, the French media conglomerate and the parent company to Activision is seeking to divest its interests from Activision Blizzard.

"Your wife was attacked. She might have been raped tortured, and scarred for life emotionally. Posessions may be missing. Please move to a different city to protect yourself from further attack from this person. Goodbye"
I say everyone that has an account with Blizzard containing any personal information should EACH sue blizzard $10 millions in damages. They seem to not really care at all that they failed in protecting people's personal information, and they don't care to do anything to help.
Waiting for global warming to get rid of the Blizzard.
