Bioware Games heavily influenced by Player Feedback |

Learning from your players is crucial when making a game. Leaning where things are gonna work and where you're gonna have to make adjustments for gameplay, story or even character, really helps keep the player abreast of their situation and it looks like Bioware feel the same way. The recent DLC of Dragon Age Legacy has really impressed gamers and critics alike with many things – from storytelling and menu systems to character arcs and gameplay – fixed and continually getting better.
Your messages to Facebook and Twitter genuinely make a change with their upcoming games. The current poll on their site about what the female Commander Shephard will look like for the upcoming Mass Effect 3 wasn't enough of a hint, Bioware lead producer, Fernando Melo says that Bioware keeps an eye out for any comments that could constructively influence any upcoming titles as real additions and detractors for upcoming games.
Melo did note that the feedback for Dragon Age and Mass Effect has not been wholly positive, however; some players had complained about the AI for party members, particularly in the final boss fight. The more negative feedback was welcomed, he added, as it let BioWare know where it needs to improve...BioWare didn't have any intention to stop improving the Dragon Age games, and that the studio hadn't yet reached where it wanted to be technology-wise. Whilst this could be a good or bad thing, I hope they do take the real criticism's on board.
The attention to detail and the expansive nature of Bioware's games have always been something that must have taken an extreme amount of editing to make it cohesive and it's good that developers do give some respect to the people who respect their games and willing to critically analyse and respond to them.
