Bethesda explains Scrolls lawsuit |

Bethesda Softworks explains their ridiculous lawsuit aimed at Mojang's Scrolls.

"This is a business matter based on how trademark law works and it will continue to be dealt with by lawyers who understand it, not by me or our developers," said Bethesda VP of PR Pete Hines.
"Mojang's public comments have not given a complete picture as it relates to their filings, our trademarks, or events that have taken place. Nobody here enjoys being forced into this. Hopefully it will all be resolved soon."
Mojang's Markus Persson has said that the lawsuit is complete bogus. Bethesda's argument is that consumers will confuse Scrolls with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
"All our suggestions were tokens of good will. We wanted to end things in a friendly way where we met them half-way. I am a huge fan of Bethesda's work, and I'm looking forward to Skyrim more than I am any other game this year. Picking a fight with my idols seemed like a silly idea," Persson said.

Do you, honestly, believe they are totally leaving their lawyers to run free in the pastures? Do you honestly believe they have no idea WHY they're suing Mojang? I doubt it.
If you have even a shred of reporting dignity left, (doubtful, this is QJ, I cant remember why I even come back here anymore, and I see you guys still have those worthless as dirt PoV articles going on)
then change the title to something along the lines of 'Bethesda flaps their lips and says nothing'.
Again, incase you didn't catch it, NOTHING IS EXPLAINED HERE, IT'S JUST BUCK PASSING.

Perhaps "Bethesda 'explains' Scrolls lawsuit" would have been more fitting then.
A small change, but a significant one.

You shouldn't be able to copyright an already established word in a language.
His game doesn't look to appealing anyway unlike how Minecraft did.

What game? The only thing we've been shown is some little mock-up trailer with nothing to it other than an announcement and a very obscure teaser trailer of it.
