Remember that talk of the Family Guy MMO? No? I barely do to be honest, but I do remember the talk about it a while back. Well, the social networking online game has some neat screens posted up by IGN.

It looks a lot like the Futurama game back on the PS2 as far as visuals go, with some of the exterior shots reminding me a lot of The Simpsons Hit & Run. Featuring many of your favourite characters from the show will be returning in the game, but not as playables; rather, they’ll be handing out quests to your custom-designed characters.

It looks impressive for what’s meant to be a browser based game; but don’t jump to conclusions, as it won’t be a Facebook affair as some may have expected. Using its own little network, the game describes itself as ‘mid-core’ and will no doubt drag fools like me into it.
