Battlefield Heroes open beta coming this summer

Electronic Arts and DICE have been hard at work on this one for quite a while now, and their efforts are coming to fruition, partially at least. The spinoff to Battlefield, Battlefield Heroes, is close to getting its open beta up and running and we won't have to wait long before blowing our seemingly wholesome foes sky high.



It's been a tough road for DICE and EA. With soft launches and the closed beta from last year, things are finally looking up for Battlefield Heroes. EA reps told Giant Bomb that the open beta will open for real this summer, adding that a more specific date will be given within the next couple of weeks.
