Good news to all PC gamers! After numerous delays, Electronic Arts and DICE has quietly released the much awaited free-to-play multiplayer action shooter game Battlefield Heroes. The cartoon style spin-off of Battlefield games was originally scheduled for release last summer has finally open its doors to the public.

Head over to the games official website right now to join the open beta of the game. Battlefield Heroes was developed by DICE and features a built-in matchmaking system that ensures all players will have equal skills. a deep character customization and a free to play business model which generates revenue through  ads and micro-transactions.
