NecroVision - Image 1

Our mates down under just whipped out the banhammer, seeing as they don't seem to want any necro in their vision. After refusing classification to NecroVision, the Australian Classification Board subsequently banned the ghastly World War I shooter, citing a number of offensive material found in the game.

Says the Classification Board to Gamespot AU:

When the player shoots an enemy combatant, a large volume of blood spray results and the enemy may be dismembered or decapitated. Injury detail is high with pieces of flesh seen flying from bodies when shot or a high level of wound detail visible on bodies. Post mortem damage occurs when bodies are shot resulting in blood spray, dismemberment and decapitation.

Let's keep in mind that Australia does not have an 18+ rating for video games. It just goes up to 15+, and any content more inappropriate than that is refused classification and, more often than not, banned.
