Assassin's Creed PC: requirements revealed, three screens - Image 1

Finally, for those waiting further news and details regarding Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed (PC, PS3, Xbox 360), you can finally breath easy. The developers have been able to shed important details regarding this game's Games for Windows version.

Since the game is going to be released four months after the console versions, four new investigation types have been included in the PC release. These are archer assassination, rooftop race challenge, merchant stand destruction challenge, and escort challenge.

As for the specifications needed to make it run just as good as the console versions, people can use any DualCore machine running at 2.2GHz and over with a decent graphic card (such as a ATi HD2600 or a NVidia 8600).

For the minimum requirements, players can just use a Pentium D 2.4GHz or a AMD X2 Athlon 3800+, equipped with a Shader Model 3.0 card (ATi X1300 and better, NVidia 6600 and better).

Do take note that the game is slated to release in the early days of April. Having that said, do enjoy the screenshots of the PC version of the game!
