Artix Entertainment, the indie game development studio that delivers download-free browser-based RPGs to 130 million users, has become a sponsor of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life to help the fight against cancer.
"We are very excited to be supporting the Relay for Life. Any event where you battle one of the most dangerous diseases on the planet by walking around in circles for 18-hours straight... COUNT US IN!" said Adam Bohn, CEO of Artix Entertainment, LLC. "And we encourage everyone who can, to make a small donation to this noble cause."
Atrix Entertainment is also encouraging the 130 million gamers who play their games to join in on the donations.
The American Cancer Society Relay is an event where people walk around a track in memory of those who have fought against cancer. The event this year is being held at Sunlake High School.
"The American Cancer Society Relay for Life has grown into a global event. Each year, more than 3.5 million people in 5,000 communities in the United States, along with additional communities in 19 other countries, gather to take part in this global phenomenon and raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer."
