Are you a fan of the Arma franchise? If so, here’s some happy news for you: Arma III, which has been in development for what seems like forever, will officially enter its alpha phase next week. On Tuesday, March 5, Bohemia is pushing the alpha live for anyone who picks the game up on Steam.

Additionally, buying the game will give you a few “Alpha Lite” passes you can share with friends, though that version of the game will only include the single-player game content with no support for mods. It also starts about a week later (March 14).

Bohemia marked the announcement by releasing a few new screenshots, one of which is posted above. Here are the rest:
