Remember Silent Hunter? You’ll be seeing a lot more of it soon after Ubisoft does what they’ve announced they’ll do, and that’s to bring Silent Hunter online.

And bring online they will, into your browser. But fear not, as it won’t feature what you can only describe as ‘browser graphics’, but use Flash Player 11, bringing what Ubisoft calls ‘stunning 3D graphics’ into your browser to play the game online.

Gameplay? Little is known. Release date? Nada. Screenshots? Zip.

All we know about the gameplay is that you’ll be escorting vessels, spying in stealth mode and make secret attacks before escaping into the ocean depths. Hopefully not the ocean depths of Firefox’s plugin-container stopping working.
