Facebook has become renowned for it's social networking and as gamers, a place where we can take in a game of Poker or The Sims or tend to plants. But the real problem at the moment with Facebook, other than those friends from High School who you really, really just don't want to talk to any more is your loss of privacy, data and even your namesake, when it comes to hackers.A statistically cool looking graph released by Sophos have provided a look into a big statistic saying 0.06% of accounts are hacked daily...or as the infographic lovingly tells you, "Put another way, that's more than 600,000 per day - or, if you really like to make your mind melt, one every 140 milliseconds."...Yikety Yikes
A new feature Facebook will be implementing in the new year is "Trusted Friends" which will either help their community or cause more petty fights between friends on whether they can actually be trusted or not.
Another feature will apply to games and apps as some will now for ask for a password to gain access to it's extra-features. This is good and helps in providing some kind of security. I think the internet will always have this problem as it is necessary to protect the stupid people who don't know how permanent the internet is, and the unfortunate who will probably be hacked for no good reason...or they just don't think I'm a trusted friend.
