10 million subscribers strong for Konami's social games |

Social games, so it appears, are to be the ones to thank for this success. Specifically, Dragon Collection, which has players going up against each other via smartphones and GREE, has pulled in a strong four million into the Konami fold.
Meanwhile, the other title raking in the big bucks for Konami is the Sengoku Collection, which has so far gathered some two million registered users.
It's a successful venture, as it turns out, for Konami. Social gaming may not be as "hardcore" as some gamers would want it to be, but hey, what's undeniable is that it does make money, and for as long as it does, it's going to be the way devs and publishers will be taking.
As thanks for this humongous support from the fans, Konami will be holding a special event at the Tokyo Game Show next week, to celebrate this historic mark in the publisher's history. Check out their full lineup for the TGS event here.
