Better Than Next Gen; Real Life Glitches

Glitches can sure ruin the immersion in realism that you might have when playing some games, but what if said glitches were realistic? And not on the game’s part, mind you, but on the part of the real world looking more like videogame glitches.

Such is the result of this Chinese artist’s decent attempts at photoshopping bicycles out of snaps, leaving the bicycle’s shadows intact. It sounds like an odd thing to do, but the result is what GTA with glitches will look like once we get photorealistic graphics.

Zhao Hausen’s work leaves me longing for other ‘videogames meet real life’ artwork, even if it’s not what he intended it to be.  The area as a whole has great potential for creative and intuitive ideas, even moreso than the home-made videogame merchandise we’ve been seeing in the last few months, including an Uncharted watch and a Plants Vs Zombies candle. You heard.

Ya I know what you mean,E3 just happened which = tons of video game news but we get a artist who photoshops people riding bikes, which in my oppinion is a completely
pointless thing to do and is in no way "art" or interesting in any way
