The two board games will remain mostly unchanged, just as in other licensed versions. Gameplay will stay the same, with World of Warcraft or StarCraft tweaks here and there – if you've played one of the themed Monopolies before, you know what to expect. Nerd fan service layered over two incredibly boring board games.

Blizzard has turned into a full-on marketing machine, bleeding every possible dime out of the two franchises it’s managed to keep running over the last ten years. When Diablo III finally comes out in 2016, we’ll probably see some similar marketing tie-ins designed to take advantage of nerds lacking in common sense. It feels cheap and exploitative, but it also works; gamers buy this stuff in droves.

If you want to participate in this travesty, you can jump on the Blizzard Facebook page and vote on which pieces make it into WoW Monopoly. Or you could burn your WoW discs in protest.

You can protest by not buying it! To Everyone I encourage you to use adblock so qj wont make money off ads for writing shitty articles. To you(Mr. F) monopoly is boring, but luckily the world doesn't revolve around you. I like monopoly but not WOW so I wont get it. Many people will enjoy this. At least make this a pov article, its just horrible as it is.

last I heard they made gazillions on WoW.

They don't even need board games to make money.

If I was blizzard I would make WoW water balloons to throw at the QJ servers for hiring people to turn it into a biased gaming site.

If I were Blizzard and I'd create World of Warcraft children plushies, World of Warcraft mugs, and World of Warcraft - How to Succeed in Business by Working Hard and Creating a Quality Product.

That's also pretty fucking offensive. You should attack Pokemon. Actually, I have a Nidoqueen keychain from BK when the first movie came out. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. It's neat, shows off something I like, and it's nostalgic.

I also used to disable my adblocker for you guys so you'd make some income, but there's no point now .. I can't feel comfortable supporting such a biased site. Gonna drop in some politics here, but it's like reading Fox News: only fundamental understanding of basic concepts with no actual education in how business (or the world) functions.
