While I've only played a tiny bit of Dark Souls, I have to say my trip into the dark dungeons of it's predecssor, Demon's Souls, set me up for a crash course in game design and ways to calm myself down that I'd never thought of before.

The 2011 Sleeper hit from Japanese developer From Software turned out to be one of the most surprising and most talked about games of the year. Despite it being released for 360 and PS3, PC gamers wants a taste of the punishment and have started a petition to give to From Software to develop a PC version of the game.

The game could work incredibly well on PC. The mesage base system could be more intricate and people could even leave voice messages with simple reminders like a loud person in a movie theatre. You'd be walking down a hallway and you'd hit a blood stain and hear someone go, "Awww hell no, don't go down there man, dragons, man, dragons everywhere, you just gotta get the peppershell and the new shield hidden in the roof of the castle and everything will be cool."

Of course, like in the console games, people could troll you hardcore by leaving opposite messages. But again, that just adds to the fun of the game. Sign here, please.
