The latest trailer for Syndicate released by Starbreeze Studios and EA talks about my favorite thing: co-op! It's been known that Syndicate (which is also known as Syndicate 2012 because it's a FPS update of some older games) would have co-op for some time, but this is the first in-depth look at it. That's not to say that it's terribly deep; it merely introduces the characters and hints at what the gameplay will be like.

In the 4-player co-op you'll be able to play as Tihomir Darius (a big bald guy with a minigun), Emma Thalos (a woman who looks like she's straight out of Resident Evil with an apparent penchant for kicking guys in the ding-ding), Akuma (who looks suspiciously like "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"), and Aiden Fall (an old guy with a rocket launcher, among other things). So it looks like each character will have strengths and weaknesses and you'll have to really work together. The video also makes it look like the co-op mode will be objective based, with one player grabbing the loot while the others fend off the baddies.

Another thing of note mentioned in the video is that fact that 9 missions from the original Syndicate will be included.
